Age Requirement

• Mandana is for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using Mandana, you confirm that you are at least 18.
• If you are under 18, do not use Mandana or submit personal information through the service.

Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), and display name. If you do not choose a name, we use the part before the @ in your email.
• Product data: Queries you submit and answers the platform generates are processed to run the service. If you save a report, we store the title, query, content, and any sources you include in our database, linked to your account.
• Usage data: We track daily usage limits per account (such as chats and saved reports) to enforce plan quotas.
• Analytics: We collect page views and basic interaction events (for example sign-up starts and CTA clicks) through Vercel Analytics. Referral UTM parameters may be stored in your browser session.
• Campus Ambassador applications: If you apply through that form, we collect the details you submit (name, email, phone, college, and related fields).

How We Use Your Information

• To operate Mandana: authenticate you, run queries, generate responses, enforce usage limits, and save reports when you choose to save them.
• To maintain and improve the product, including understanding how people use the site and which features get used.
• To respond to support requests and legal obligations when required.

Third-Party Services

• We do not sell your personal data.
• Your queries and content may be sent to AI and search providers to generate responses. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the platform and its users from fraud or abuse.

Cookies & Local Storage

• We use session cookies to keep you signed in (via Neon Auth).
• We use browser session storage and local storage for referral tracking (UTM parameters) and basic analytics helpers.
• Vercel Analytics may set its own cookies or use similar technologies on pages where it is enabled.

Data Security

• We rely on our infrastructure providers for encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure hosting.
• Passwords are handled by our auth provider and are not stored in plain text by us.
• No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, sign out, reset your password, and contact us.

Your Choices

• You can update your display name in Settings. Your email cannot be changed in the app today.
• You can sign out at any time. Saved reports remain linked to your account until you ask us to delete them.
• To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, email us at contact@kriyagniai.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any legal retention we are required to keep.
